stop auto progam start

Hi All, can some one tell me how to stop a program from auto starting when the computer is powered up under Win 7.

What program is it? You can go into services and set it to manual start, which is a better way then unchecking it using msconfg.

Hi and welcome

type msconfig in search. Go to the offending app (in start up) and un check it. reboot done

StartupCPL didn't work for me in RC, so I just used msconfig instead. No point using other programs if I already have what i need...
