Search Command in Win 7`

    Search Command in Win 7`


    In XP you could hit the Start key and there was a "Search for File" were you could input a file name and it would find where the file was. Anything like that in Win 7?

    hit start button
    the blank space before all programs is the search bar. the magnifying glass button is the search button

    The above poster is correct. I think that you will find this search even better than XP. It is able to find a file or folder that contains your search words. It gives you recommendations as you are typing. Bottom line, I think its much better than XP. I am glad that you asked, so now you can enjoy this great feature.
