Windows 7: Reacurring issues when booting

I have a rather unique situation I think. I have installed a clean version of Windows 7 Ultimate on my desktop. Now everything the system boots up I get two reacurring issues:

1) Setup is preparing your computer for first use

2) System Preparartion Tool 3.14
System Preparation tool (sysprep) prepares the machine for hardware independance and cleanup.

The above two issues accur each and every time I boot up. I cannot figure out why. Any and all help would be greatly appreaciated.

I think the best thing that you could do in your situation is a quick repair install. Just take the DVD, as you did when you installed the first time. In this case select repair. Apparantly some file is corrupt and should be fixed with a repair.

I am having this exact same problem! And a repair didn't seem to help. Has anyone else seen this or have a suggestion?

Did you do a clean install or upgrade or it came preinstalled on your computer?
