Not searching within tags

I recently tagged a lot of pictures on Win 7 and thought it would be fun to show a friend how nice it was to just to a search for a certain tag and have them all listed there.

But it didn't work! I can see the tag I entered when I switch to 'details', I can even search for the camera model (sony, canon) and it will search those, but not the tags!

I already indexed the location and it didn't work.

What can I do?

First thing I wou.ld od is to make sure the folders where the files are, are included. then I would rebuild the index by going into indexing> advaned>rebuild.

Let us know how it is going

Well for tags, "tags:mysupertag AND tags:anothertag" is what I found to work every time.

No success. I tried rebuilding the index, changing it's place and nothing works.

I tried the automatic problem solver and this came up:

"Incorrect permissions on windows search directories - not fixed."

I only found **one** result searching for it on google, and the guy couldn't fix it either. Even giving any user full control of the directory didn't fix it. I'm not even sure if this is a related problem (the lack of tag search is my main concern).

Massive bump!

I have this problem as well.

I've got a fresh install of Windows 7 Profession x64 and all I've done so far is copy my data from my external drive to my PC and installed some basic software (like Firefox, Winamp, MS Office and more). Windows Search worked at first but then a lot of files wouldn't show up in the search results.

I tried rebuilding the index but now nothing shows up in the results. When troubleshooting I get the following:
"Incorrect Permissions on Windows Search Directories"

"Permissions on Windows Search directory:
NT instans SYSTEM"

Worth noting perhaps is that Windows Search only doesn't work on my libraries. When moving my files to a folder outside a library it works, but I'd like to keep my files in my libraries if possible.
