Any way to show alt+tab without holding down alt?

I've just recently downloaded a driver that allows my touchpad to do alot more, so to switch between programs I would like it to display the alt+tab window. I managed to bind a movement to the alt+tab window, but in order to keep the window up, the bind does not include "release alt" so alt is kept held down which interfers with the regular use of the keyboard.
Are there any button combination that brings up the alt+tab screen until a program is selected by clicking with mouse, or perhaps an app, or setting I could change? My goal is to be able to launch it with the touchpad, select a program and be done with it. I need it to stay open without holding the alt key down.

    Thanks

press and relese the following key combo: CTRL+ALT+TAB

This will bring up the ALT+TAB selector but it will remain visible when you release the keys. You can then select between the open windows using TAB or arrow keys or click on the window you want to bring to front.

CTRL+WINKEY+TAB will do the same thing for Flip3D, so it is static and you can click the window you want, TAB to it or even use your arrow keys to switch.

Is there any way to temporarily disable the task switching? I tried to record the keys for switching it, but the actual task switching interrupts the recording.
