Yupeee .. sfc /scannow it works WOW it thought that command never really works .... First thing i'm gonna remove those junks like Windows 7 Manager ... Frostmourne your are right never install those junks .. You guyz are great thanks a lot
Yes, I thought it would. But it wasn't because of the replaced system theme files. I run them too and all is well here. It was something else you did like with the tweaker software.
Feel free to use the patch for those 3 system files if you'd like. They are running stable here on two machines for many months.
Otherwise, unless you have someone like me telling you how to do (because I know it to be stable), it is generally advisable never to mess with system files as others have said.
Now if you do though, you'll have to be very careful about the actual themes you install. They themselves could mess up stuff.

That's good you made a backup.
Now you need to startup and choose Safe Mode with command prompt to replace them,. as they will be in use by windows.
I think i can do with in regualr mode becuase i have taken ownership of whole window folder .. Used a patch registry key by shawn
Did you rename the files in the system32 directory to something like this:
ExplorerFrame.dll
Or ExplorerFrame.bak
That;s the one that will give you the most problems
Ya, the patch app automatically makes backups when patching and can replace from them at the click of a button. So that's another fail safe thing. Use it in safe mode if ever needed.
Before reinstall and after system file checker, you could also try a Repair Install (Upgrade over itself from the desktop) which will reinstall the OS while saving your programs, files and settings.
It will carry over settings but not damage to OS files.
Unlike Vista, Windows 7 requires no performance tweaks that I know of other than standard system settings.
NICE car grerrocker.
Is it a Duster or a Demon?
