Enabling Windows Mail in Windows 7

    It is best to take ownership of all the files individually and then give yourself full control so you can remove them or replace them, selecting the whole folder doesn't seem to work and don't forget to give yourself full control.

    Windows Mail in Windows 7


    Run your original Windows mail (winmail.exe) and change your screen resolution to get it unlocked.

    That's crazy, how did you think to do that. It's still not a great fix as every time you close it you will need to change your resolution again if you want to open it.

    Maybe this one helps ya.. Create a shortcut to it, change shortcut's icon to one used by "Outlook" and pin it to start menu =)

    It's OK I don't even use Windows Mail and I never have, the only one I use is Windows Live Mail.
