Imageshack's resize for forum tends to work the best across most of the forums I frequent. I do understand though since I've seen people ruin threads with over scaled hotlinked images.

Its nice that the feature is in the forum for sure, but I actually find it easier to use my old tried and true method... PrintScreen, Paint Shop Pro 7 (yes I know ancient! I love it though), imageshack. I have it down to a science, I only have to use the mouse for a single click otherwise it is nearly automatic keyboard shortcuts for me... hm...
that gives me an idea... maybe I should create an autohotkey script for this.

Yeah, but does it show screenshots in a manageable size or hugely grotesque? That's the whole point of this thread, not to show you only one way to do it but to show you how to use the site's uploading feature, to be resized properly, so the screenshots aren't gigantic and don't go off the screen. Most people when they see those kinds of screenshots are more inclined to run away then take the time to look at them.

I don't use my browser at full screen. Also each link opens in a new window (firefox), so I have to click on it twice and then close two extra windows.

    Gary

Edit: Just tried it with FF at full screen and it's still not readable after 1 click. If the pic is loaded here, 1 click and it's readable. Use the wheel to scroll and it returns to the thread.
