When it reboots, it needs to be able to boot from the DVD drive.
When the computer reboots, does it say on the top of the screen to "press any key to boot from CD or DVD"?
If not, then you either need to press a certain key, sometimes F12, to choose your boot device, or go into BIOS and change the boot order and have the DVD Drive listed before the HDD. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HAL-9000 OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit CPU Intel i7 3770K Motherboard Asus Sabertooth Z77 Memory 16GB DDR3 1333 Corsair XMS3 Graphics Card XFX HD6950 2GB EyeFinity Sound Card Logitech G35 & Sennheiser PC135 & VIA HD Monitor(s) Displays 23" HP 2310e, 23" Samsung B2230, 21.5" Viewsonic Screen Resolution 5760x1080 Keyboard Logitech G15 and G13 Mouse Logitech G700 Gaming Mouse PSU Antec True Power New 650watt Case Cooler Master HAF-932 Cooling Corsair H60 Hydro Cooler, 3x 230mm Fans, 2x120mm Fan Hard Drives 16TB of Storage

I tried with Upgrade Advisor and it says that is compatible .
The version i`m trying to upgrade is Windows 7 x64, Ultimate. I want to upgrade because i don`t want to reinstall a lot of programs or games and this would be very useful | My System Specs | | |

Okay, good. First off, most of us here at SF recommend a clean install over an upgrade. It reduces the risk of problems later on. If you are intent on doing an upgrade, try disabling all Extras on Vista before upgrading. See if that works. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Intel i7 2600K OC'd @ 4620 MHz Motherboard Asus P8Z68-V Pro Memory 16GB GSkill Sniper 2133 Mhz (4x4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 SuperClocked+ Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays 2x Acer S273HLbmii 27" Screen Resolution 2 x 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech MK320 (wireless) Mouse Logitech MK320 (wireless) PSU Corsair HW Series 750w (modular) Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Blue Edition Cooling CM Hyper 212+ CPU cooler, 3x 230mm + 1x 140mm case fans Hard Drives 64GB Crucial M4 SSD
