    Hi,

Whenever I try to shut down my PC it hangs at the Logging Off screen.

The HDD does something for a while then it does nothing, reads like once in 5 seconds, the mouse circle does not rotate and it just sits there.

I am not sure what else info to provide, please ask

    Please help.

    Thanks

    More info:
If I try to shut it down right after I turn it on, it works. So obviously it does not work after working a while.

Sounds like your hard drive is overheating, or you have corrupted sectors.

I did not have this problem with other Windowses and this one was recently installed. Before installing I physically formatted the HDD and had no bad blocks. Overheating is not happening because I have a lot of coolers.

    Any other reasons for this?

Do you have anything else running in the background?

Ok, this happens when there are network connections open and I shut it down. I do click the button to force kill all the processes but that does not help

    Any way to fix that?
