Hmmm. Mine is the same as the regular HP cases.

I have room in slots for large vid card, wireless PCI and TV tuner.

My friend's older eMachine does have a shrunken little case tho. He really struggled to get a new mobo fit in there, then turned it on and smoked it.

Yes but not all, and I don't like how the older cases don't have a nice side panel like most of the cases you'd buy if you got a case. I like mid/full tower cases though as I hate cramming things together (4 hdd, I need a new case soon...)

if your computer is doing what you want it to do regardless of the "brand" then it's the most wonderful and useful tool you own.

The computer is only as good as the idiot using it.

I beg to differ, but that also might be a difference in recreational activities lol

I can't help myself - take a look at my laptop specs for an example of a real laptop.

We have 7 different computers here and I like the eMachine 5234 best... But I tried one at Best Buy the other day and they still don't bog even with the bloatware (I was trying to take it off in Best Buy, obsessive that I am).
You know you have a problem when you are trying to fix the display models.

I have an eMachine lappy (AMD64+ATI) and the thing is an absolute brick. Been 100% reliable though.
