    Shutting down windows 7

Each time i shut down windows 7, it pops up with the screen that these programs prevent windows from shutting down. Well the programs are: winlogon.exe, ComPtc.exe, compptcvui.exe. I want to know what are these programs, and how can i prevent then from popping up each and every time i shut down my computer?

Than you for the help, this has been solved.

    Hi Duustheboy,
    I belive those are trojans

You can try running freeware like Ad-Aware or Spyboat to remove them

    Hope that help

    Run MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware:
download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop
    http://majorgeeks.com/download5756.html
    * Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
    * At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
    * If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
    * Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
    * When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
    * Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

Do you have some type of fingerprint scanner installed on that computer? If so that could be causing your problems.

    About virus/anti spyware

Thank you for all the advice. But i installed windows 7 a week ago, and i had vista before and there where none of these errors before. And i aint some kind of idiot that just download everything i think sounds cool or something. I got antivirus, norton internet security 2010 and i scan everything. Wouldn't they pop up in vista if it where a trojan or any other kind of virus. What can i do with the compptcvui.exe or whatever it was called, the finger validating program, how can i prevent that from popping up? I think winlogon was because i forced my computer to automatic login. How can i make it login automatic without having to go through some advanced configure. Someting like run-> control userpassword 2 -> enable atomatic login. I have tryed removing password, but it still wants me to click my username, although there aint any other users. And the comptc.exe, i will try to shutdown and see if its called compc.exe. If it is compc.exe what can i do to prevent that? I ran the malware thing and there where 0 infections, aswell my anti virus says.
Hope you can help me sorry for my not so good grammatic english, i'm from denmark

duustheboy, upload each of those three files (one at a time) to VirusTotal - Free Online Virus and Malware Scan and have them scanned. Post the results back in this topic.

Also, do you have "truesuite access manager"?

I think you're okay then. You can look in Services and see if any of these are running (except winlogon), right click the program/file, choose properties and set it to manual. Stop the program from running and test what's actually been stopped. You can always restart it again.

Also, see if this helps with a faster shutdown .... right click on the taskbar to pull up Task manager. Click on 'explorer'.exe, then stop the process. Now shut Windows down. Did the messages still pop-up?

You guys are barking up the wrong tree. the OP's NIS2010 is fine for protecting his PC. Some processes are simply active at shutdown time; hence the messages at shutdown. I've seen this occur on many machines with a variety of programs including MS processes. Everyone just RELAX a bit--the messages aren't an indication of impending doom!
