Retreive files from WET

I used Windows Easy Transfer to move my files to an internal hard drive before installing 7 professional. Now when I attempt to access those files in order to transfer some of them to 7, I get the message "WET could not open file". When asked where the files are the only options given are external drive or thumb drive, but I can still find them on the extra internal drive. Any help accessing those files would be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully you used the most update version of WET. It was updated only about 2 months ago. Trying to remedy a stituation like this is just hit and miss. Go to Microsoft, download the most current version and try to tranfer again.

I don't really understand how getting another copy of WET would be of any help now, since the transfer has been made, and the "transferred from" no longer exists??
I transferred from Win XP to the internal drive "E" and then installed Win7 on C - -
both drives on same computer.
