is there a "how to identify your computer" tutorial?

    is there a "how to identify your computer" tutorial?


    Because it would be great to link to when helping those that do not know what their computer is, or by what we mean by "what is your computer/GPU/HD/eta?"
    I'll make one if there isn't one, but I will need example pictures (preferably with any S/N's already removed)

    Try typing dxdiag in search, you will be surprised at the info you can get from there. If that isnt enough there are several free 3rd party apps that will give you th minutia

    or type in the search box 'system information'. Windows has a built in tool that parses all of the info into a relatively easy to read format.
