hotfix notice

not sure how this would work but is it possible to have a hotfix notice sticky. there was a hotfix to fix a usb issue that was in 7 and even after searching the forums I didn't find a simular thread but after browsing the forums I ran across it and found a hotfix that fix my issue. if there was a thread with a hotfix notice for hotfixes that are not part of the auto updates it might have saved me hours of trouble shooting an issue that was already solved.

Sounds like a good idea. I second the motion. Out of curiousity, what was the USB hotfix about?

Sounds like a good idea, just maybe one of the mods will get back to us on the idea.

here the link to the hotfix

You encounter problems when you move data over USB from a Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2-based computer that has an NVIDIA USB EHCI chipset and at least 4GB of RAM

I have 2 USB HDD's and couldn't transfer large amounts of data from one drive to the other. I found another thread but with a single drive but the hotfix worked for my issue also.

I contacted MS with my issue and how the hotfix solved it so they could update the info on that web page to include more info.
