| | hotfix notice not sure how this would work but is it possible to have a hotfix notice sticky. there was a hotfix to fix a usb issue that was in 7 and even after searching the forums I didn't find a simular thread but after browsing the forums I ran across it and found a hotfix that fix my issue. if there was a thread with a hotfix notice for hotfixes that are not part of the auto updates it might have saved me hours of trouble shooting an issue that was already solved. |

| | here the link to the hotfix You encounter problems when you move data over USB from a Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2-based computer that has an NVIDIA USB EHCI chipset and at least 4GB of RAM I have 2 USB HDD's and couldn't transfer large amounts of data from one drive to the other. I found another thread but with a single drive but the hotfix worked for my issue also. I contacted MS with my issue and how the hotfix solved it so they could update the info on that web page to include more info. |
