Simple question really is there a F button or some other combination that will open a window to it's maximum viewing size? I am so fed up of stretching it wide with the mouse

Well it's spose to be that you drag it to the size you want, then click the Resize box next to the red X a couple of times and it should remember the position.
There are other fixes but that one still works on my explorer windows.
