hide the hidden programs from desktop in open menu?

    hide the hidden programs from desktop in open menu?


    you know when you launch the open menu to upload or something and you select the desktop, it has all this crap at the top (Libraries Homegroup, user folder, eta) which you have disabled on the true desktop making uou have to scroll down to select the one thing that actually *IS* on the desktop?
    how do you disable those folders so they don't show up?

    Right-click on the taskbar, choose properties, click the Start View tab and under Privacy, uncheck both boxes.

    nope, still there.
    i changed the view mode to list so it's not as bad anymore, but still...
    it's these folders.
    the only one that I remotely need is the recycling bin, which is acessed via a gadget.

    Those are special folder and cannot be changed
