Run as Administrator
Cant find any info on this so wonder if any of you guys know a solution.
I have a Kyocera Colour laser printer on my work network (universirty), I Like to set it to default print in B+W or the students will rip the p**s out of it. Students log onto a standard account and if they have good reason to print in colour then I let them (I am nice like that).
With Vista this was easy, in the student account I would right click on the printer and select "run as administrator", UAC would then ask for my admin password and I could set the printer to colour.
With Windows 7, run as administrator is missing from the list when I right click on the printer. It is there for other programs but not for the printer. This means that I would have to log out then log into my admin account, change then setting then log back into the student account. Bit of a ballache. So can anyone tell me why this is different in 7, and more importantly how I can fix it so I can run the printer properties as admin from a standard account.
Cheers
