Windows 7 - my W7 issues...

ok this is my update for Windows 7.......this OS is super quick, & unlike vista as soon as it reaches the desktop all HDD activity stops dead!!, i also love the GUI its far improved over vista's

but i have some compatibility issues... maybe someone else could try & run these apps & see if its just my rig

speedfan wont work on any compatibility setting, which means i am unable to turn down the HSF & its bloody loud...

Rivatuner works but displays no GPU information, it states ''driver signings need to be disabled'' but they are...

im running 178.13 WHQLs (for x64 vista) but pages & movie playback are super laggy, i don't think the drivers actually work, even though i have Aero

my surround sound wont work, only the headphones will ...but the device manager states them both as fully functional...

& my modem probs im sure your all aware of....

most of these probs will be solved once i get it online, but you can certainly see the potential, i cant wait to update this bad boy & let it run rings round vista...

I can't get speedfan to run either

i got speedfan running, surround sound is also working

i have realized in order to get something running you need to break down the app to its bear files & locate just the exe. & run that in C.mode for vista or XP

my Windows 7 is now completely loaded with all my apps, gadgets & media.....the longer i spend on it the more i notice the refinements they made

now just to get it online .....

@ecrada; you can get quite a few images like that at Interfacelift.com. I tried to put that same image and a few others in a zip for you (even just that one) and they wouldn't load; too big.
