Folders Windows 7

Windows XP allowed you to set up individual folders by name with a break between the A's & B's etc.
Windows 7 Home Premium groups the the items by name , for example A-H; I-P; & so on . How can you set each folder up individually & if by name each new letter starts from left hand side of page, not for example B following immediately after A, hope you can follow my rambling & have a solution

If I understand you correctly, when you right click and get the context menu there are View, Sort and Group by options. Then If you select group by (none) this will turn off this behaviour. There are other various options in group by available to you too.
