    missing icon on usb drive


    I am missing the icon on a usb flash drive. I cannont find any way to repair it. need help.

    Hello Papa, welcome to the Seven Forums.

    Is the drive empty? If so, go to Folder Options and choose the View tab, uncheck Hide empty drives in the Computer folder.

    Hello Papa, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    If the USB drive is not hidden in the Computer window and is missing the icon for it instead, then the tutorial below may be able to help restore the icon. Be sure to also check to see if you have a desktop.ini file as described in the yellow TIP box at the top of the tutorial.
