    Win 7 Ult sleep

    Hi

New to this forum after lurking awhile. Very informative

I have 2 different manufacturers notebooks and 2 different manufacturers towers all with win7 Ult. If you walk away from them and just leave it at the desktop and come back later, they are frozen. Is this a common bug?

Hi Paezon and welcome to the forum.
Can you give us a description of how you have your power options setup? I think the default power save options tell the hard drive to spin down and the system to go into a hibernate/sleep mode. I usually set my power options not to turn my hard drive off and not to sleep/hibernate.

no, but its not unheard of. The fact that you are 0 for 4 is very unusual though.

    Hello Paezon,

Here are some common solutions to power problems: Solutions to common power problems. You can also use the troubleshooter (link on same site).
