    Hello Peregine,

    If all else fails, an excellent suggestion from Johnhoh - by creating a problem, you can pinpoint what's starting the processes.

    Whenever you do something like this, just be sure you can get back to the staus quo ante - copy the files first and create an SR point and if appropriate, an image. These are just general troubleshooting procedures.

    Revo Uninstaller didn't do it either.

    Further investigation led to Autoruns for Windows which worked just great. It was able to locate the registry entries for the Brother auto starting processes and I was able to turn them off by simply unchecking the appropriate box.

    Problem solved. Thanks to all for the suggestions.
