Blank Screen After BootScreen Hey all,
Ever since I put Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit on (about 6 hours ago) I get a black screen after boot screen, no login appears.
Black Screen:
* No Mouse
* No Keyboard
* No Screen (Duh) Its not a "Black Screen" more of a blank screen
I have attempted many fixes:
* Update Drivers for mother board
* Update Drivers For GFX card
* Batch Files in Start up (two different ones based on display)
* Updated BIOS
* Removing all other hard drives
Things that Have Worked:
* Running in Safe Mode
* Disabling GFX card
* Remove GFX card Drivers
This is how i came to the conclusion that my black screen is caused by my GFX card. But i don't want to have Windows 7 installed with out it (what would be the point).
My GFX card is a "NVIDIA 9800 gtx"
NVIDIA latest Drivers i have
195.62_desktop_win7_winvista_32bit_english_whql
Any help is welcomed thanks. | My System Specs |

While in Safe Mode, instead of disabling the graphic card, did you try going to the Startup tab of msconfig and disabling ALL startup items to see what would happen? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number DIY OS W7x64 Pro, SuSe 12.1/** W7 x64 Pro, XP MCE CPU Phenom II 1090T w/Noctua NH-D14 /**4400+ X2 w/CM Hyper TX 3 Motherboard ASRock 890FX Deluxe 4/**A8N-SLI Memory 2 x 2GB Patriot PGS34g1600LLKA/**4x1GB Corsair VS Graphics Card EVGA GTX460 SC/**EVGA 8800GTS Sound Card Asus Xonar D2X/**Xonar D1 Monitor(s) Displays Acer X233H, Dell E152FPc /**LG M237-WD Screen Resolution 1920x1080 & 1024x768/**1980x1080 Keyboard Logitech Media USB/**Saitek Eclipse Mouse Cordless Trackman Wheel/**Ditto PSU CM RS600 w/ APC BX1000G/**Antec 500 TP w/ APC BX1000 Case HAF922/**Antec 1040IIB Cooling 3x200mm, 1x140 and 1x120mm/**5x80mm fans Hard Drives WDC 2TB, 1.5TB, 1TB, 500GB,Seagate 500GB , Maxtor 80GB /**500GB Seagate & WDC 1TB Black Internet Speed 3.3Mbps Other Info SB 560 5.1 w/ Sennheiser RS140/**Creative T20 speakers, Dvico FusionHDTV7 Gold RT, Cisco E3000, HP 5510V AIO, Linksys E3000, Belkin F5U237 hub and **F5D8055 adapter

I update from Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate
& some times my Laptop gets stuck on Boot screen
where it says - "Press any key to boot from CD/Dvd ?
then I have to shut it & take out the Battery & then restart it
& then it loads Windows, but this happens some times
Anyone knows why or how i can solve this issue ?

I have no idea of what your laptop is doing, but the only time that I ever see a message about booting from a CD is !. there is a CD/DVD in the optical drive, and 2. The optical drive is set in the BIOS's Boot Priority ahead of the harddrive. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number DIY OS W7x64 Pro, SuSe 12.1/** W7 x64 Pro, XP MCE CPU Phenom II 1090T w/Noctua NH-D14 /**4400+ X2 w/CM Hyper TX 3 Motherboard ASRock 890FX Deluxe 4/**A8N-SLI Memory 2 x 2GB Patriot PGS34g1600LLKA/**4x1GB Corsair VS Graphics Card EVGA GTX460 SC/**EVGA 8800GTS Sound Card Asus Xonar D2X/**Xonar D1 Monitor(s) Displays Acer X233H, Dell E152FPc /**LG M237-WD Screen Resolution 1920x1080 & 1024x768/**1980x1080 Keyboard Logitech Media USB/**Saitek Eclipse Mouse Cordless Trackman Wheel/**Ditto PSU CM RS600 w/ APC BX1000G/**Antec 500 TP w/ APC BX1000 Case HAF922/**Antec 1040IIB Cooling 3x200mm, 1x140 and 1x120mm/**5x80mm fans Hard Drives WDC 2TB, 1.5TB, 1TB, 500GB,Seagate 500GB , Maxtor 80GB /**500GB Seagate & WDC 1TB Black Internet Speed 3.3Mbps Other Info SB 560 5.1 w/ Sennheiser RS140/**Creative T20 speakers, Dvico FusionHDTV7 Gold RT, Cisco E3000, HP 5510V AIO, Linksys E3000, Belkin F5U237 hub and **F5D8055 adapter
