Windows 7-assign letter

Hey

Just a quick question, a while back when i installed XP, for some reason it assigned the main hardrive the letter I: , this means some programs wont install etc. If i do a clean install of windows 7 on this PC will it assign the main harddrive to I: or C: by default?

It will pick C by default. You have the option to pick the letter for the backup drive, ie. the drive that will contain system image and system restore. In fact, you will have the option to decide how much space you want to devote to the backup drive.
