Sleepy harddrives x64

If my harddrives is stopped be the powerscheme, and I then put the PC to sleep, then when it wakes up again the harddrives is starting up, and therefore I miss e: f: g: and h:. I can get it back by a restart or by deactivate the ATA crontroller and then activate it again.
My C: and D: drives is on my SSD, so no problem there.

Is there a solution to these "sleepy harddrives" (other than make change to powerscheme)?

I'm running with the default Windows 7 drivers (7600 in Ultimate x64) for the ATA controller and for the harddrives themself, as I don't know which Intel driver would be better.

This is not quite automatic, but if you go into Disk Management (diskmgmt.msc), you can go under Action and Rescan Disks. This will "refresh" them.

Has it always been this way?

No, not in the earlier build of Windows 7, but when I bought my Final Windows 7 Ultimate, it started. I have now 3 clean installations under my belt, and all three has had this error.
BTW, the sleepy harddrives is both Samsung F1 1Tb.
An other funny thing is, that the Windows 7 "score" on my SSD is 5,9 in final version of Windows 7, but it was 7,6 in build 7264, so something is not quite in order, but as all drivers are the original from Microsoft, I don't know what to do? If I try Crystaldisk to mesure the performance of my SSD, the performance is now just as good as in build 7264 (261,1 Read, and 75,9 Write, both seq.), so the performance is OK.
