Hi,
After all the help I've been receiving, it is a pleasure to try and give some info. back for a change.
I had a post previously asking how to find the ALL USERS folder; I didn't seem to have it (anywhere).
Anyway, I was in Barnes and Noble this AM, and looked at all their Windows7 books they had. Sure is an industry onto itself, apparently. Probably more on this subject than what they had in the Cookbooks section.
In one of them, I found a somewhat obscure mention of the fact that there is no more ALL USERS, that the folder was re-named in Windows 7 to Public (which I do have).
So, I guess, that's what happened.
BTW: all you folks probably know of this, but if you don't, you should download the free utility AutoRuns. Wow ! Everythiong you could ever want to know about startups, tasdks scheduled, etc.
Really impressive. Can get from:
Autoruns for Windows
One question: Besides Event Viewer, which I have much trouble understanding the info. that is presented, are there other utilities, etc. built into Windows 7 which provide similar info. on hangups, my famous Windows Explorer starting and re-starting problem perhaps, etc. in a different format or info. context ?
Regards,
Bob
