Did the upgrade because I had always done fresh installs with the other Betas, so wanted to experience how the other half install  . Launching files from the pinned icons on the taskbar only works for Windows programs, notepad, paint etc.  IE 8 is not beta.

Oh strange.. i have heard there are a number of issues with this build, hoping they are not present in the x86 version.

Gary Im not experiencing this. I just tried CCleaner and Glary Utilities. Both launch from the task bar.
So far, im not experiencing any problems. I also heard about problems with the WEI. No error here.
My only complaint was that it took just over an hour to upgrade from 7022 to 7048. Other than that, not noticing any issues. | | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Built
