I am an idiot.. Help? shutdown -s -t fail.

    Thank you, that was extremely helpful although I am still left with 1 small problem.
    I can not access the task manager. It doesn't show in the Ctrl + Alt + Del menu and Ctrl + Shift + Esc does not work either.

    Check the following policy setting.

    Click Start and type gpedit.msc into the search box. Press Ctrl Shift and Enter simultaneously in order to start with administrative privileges. Provide credentials or confirmation when prompted.
    Follow the highlights.
