Can't Log Into My Account

Ok so, recently I've upgraded to windows 7. I decided to do a clean install which was a bad idea because now I have to reinstall everything and put all my files back. Anyway, I recently figured out how to get the full admin rights. The method I found made a new account called Administrator. I switched over to that account. And at some point, I also selected to start up Windows and let me log on without the need for a password BTW. I took all the files from my first account and moved them to the admin account since I planned to use that from now on. I was doing everything and looked up this youtube video showing how to make windows boot up faster. It worked fine when I was running vista so I figured I'd do it for Windows 7. I did it restarted and saw that I couldnt log on. Even stranger, I saw that the only account that I had was my old one, the one I deleted and replaced with the admin account. I tried that password I had set for that account and it didnt work. I seriously have no idea what to do. Please help

EDIT: Never mind. I fixed the problem by using Brink's solution

Hello Zepher, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if doing a system restore at boot using a restore point (if available) dated when everything worked properly.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Hi Zepher,

Out of curiosity, what was the YouTube video you followed to "make Windows boot up faster"?

Cheers,

First off, you can't have created an account called "Administrator" because that account is built into Windows by default. Second, there is nothing to "figure out" about getting admin rights. The first account you create is by default an administrative user. It sounds as though you have done significant "meddling" to your system. I suggest a full, clean reinstall.

Well whatever the cause, I'm glad you got the problem solved But make sure to post your solution as a reply next time, just in case nobody happens to reread your original post!
