| | Confirmed: Windows 7 will NOT have built-in support for Bluray playback -only burning Quote: Confirmed by Mr. Sinofsky himself, there will be no native BluRay support in Windows 7. However, BluRay Drive makers and OEMs will be able to extend Windows Media Center to support playback. What will be supported in Windows 7 though, is the burning of BRD discs. Here’s the email that was forwarded to me from our loyal reader Theodore. I did make a WHOIS check to make sure that it was Sinofsky himself.
