A few problems in Windows 7

I have a few problems in Windows 7

1. For example I got into MY DOCUMENTS, and I want to view the files and folders in LIST VIEW, but when I got into a folder lets say called "GENERAL" inside my Documents, I want to view it as "Large Icons"

When I change the view of the GENERAL folder to LARGE ICONS, the MY DOCUMENTS change to LARGE ICONS aswell.

I want to keep MY DOCUMENTS, in LIST VIEW, and the folder inside MY DOCUMENTS, GENERAL as LARGE ICONS.

How can I do that?

2. I have changed the taskbar of the windows 7 to view it as Windows Vista taskbar, everything works good, except when I open LIVE MESSENGER, it does not go into the right side of the taskbar, so it hides, but it remains OPEN in the main taskbar as a Window....How can I fix that?

Thanks.

I don't have any problems setting views for different folders. Have you made any registry tweaks recently?

Question 2. I do not have messenger, so I cannot be sure of the answer, but go to search type taskbar then go to cusomize notification area. The right side is the notification area and you can customize it. Since I do not have messenger, I do not know if that is one of the options. Good Luck

Thats the problem, there is no LIVE MESSENGER in the list...even tho it is ON.

Just to be sure that there is not communication problem. I thought that you meant that it did not show on the right side of the screen by the clock.
I am saying that you can put it there by customizing the notification area.
