DVD contents refresh?

I face the old fashioned problem (now) in Windows 7 Explorer that, after a data backup (imgBurn) to DVD, the new DVD contents is not displayed until I cycle the tray!?

Is there something I can do about it?

thanks for thoughts

Opening the window with the DVD contents and pressing F5 does not work?

If I understand the question, I think it should.

Okay, more precisely, I have the win-explorer open (listing C drive

Now, doing a data backup - when finished looking at the DVD contents by clicking on the dvd device in explorer's left pane I see the old contents listed (file dates) and not the new files. Cycle the tray and the contents is updated.

Form Vista and XP days I was used to see the new contents listed (after a backup) without tray cycling by clicking on the DVD device in the left pane

hope this is clearer

Hye,
I have the same symptom when i burn the new information on dvd or cd via a nero command line or an other software. So with refresh function on this software, the information doesn't appear. The only solution is an eject cd or dvd and the reinsert it.

Do you have a better solution for that?

Thank you.
