Live Essentials and photoshop gone yellow!

my screen looks fine when i use all the other things on my computer but when i am using the above two programs the some elements on the screen appear a yellowy tint.

Photoshop also used to warn me that there was something wrong with the monitor profile, but i stopped the warning.

Also every time i log on there are kind of faint vertical lines, but these can be removed by changing the screen resolution and then reverting them back.

I am total lost as to what to next

Make a system image, now uninstall photoshop. I think that is the problem. Maybe we can get you back to normal. If that occurs, we can decide try to reinstall photoshop. If we can't get back to normal, just use the system image to return to your current condition.

    1. Go to Devices and Printers Right click on Monitor go to Display setings Click Advanced Settings Click Color Management and Color Management again
    2. In the Color Management dialog box, click to select the Use my settings for this device check box.
    3. In the Profiles associated with this device list, click the color profile that you want to remove, and then click Remove.
    4. Now add this color profile sRGB IEC61966-2.1
    5. Click Close to close the Color Management dialog box.
    6. Restart the computer.
    7. Open an image in Windows Photo Gallery to verify that the issue is resolved.

    SOLVED!

Thanks to both who replied, i used zone23's solution because it didn't mean that i had to uninstall Photoshop. The problem is no longer a problem thanks to you both.

Your welcome. Although mine wasn't exactly right on the money it at least got you to were you needed to be. Windows 7 is a little different then it used to be as far as color pallets go. Enjoy and Merry Christmas.

You would think Adobe would update monitor profiles, I get a error message with my Samsung 2243BW monitor too.
