    Search Option

I dont want the hidden folders and the contents thereof to be revealed in search.
But in Organize> folder and search options> search, I am confused how to do so. Please help.

This is already done...I think this comes by default. But still , if I hide a folder containing some pdf files, and then search for pdf, all they are revealed. whar should I do to make them private? I dont want to use a program like microsoft private folder. Please suggest a way out.

    Hi Arc,

Here's a thread in Microsoft Answers that sheds some light on the status of this issue... fortunately, it looks like a simple UI design oversight - if enough noise is made, perhaps they'll fix it soon: Why Does the Explorer Search Turn Up Files in Hidden Folders?

    Happy Holidays,
