    ✯ 3rd Hard drive doesn't show up ✯

I just installed windows 7 on a home built desktop. Everything seems to be running fine except my 3rd hard drive won't show up. In device manager it shows all 3 hard drives, but in My Computer it only shows 2.

The hard drive that isn't showing up in My Computer (but showing up in Device Manager), is a Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1 TB.

The hard drives that are showing up are both Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 but one is a 500 GB the other is a 750 GB.

I would greatly appreciate any help!
    thanks!

Hello Bryson, Welcome to the best Windows support forum out there!

Try right-clicking on the drive in Device Manager and selecting "Change drive letter and paths", and giving it a letter. It should now show up in My Computer.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks Jonathon

I think there is also another way to do it...I went to Disk Management, Right clicked the drive that wasn't showing up and clicked " new simple volume " (and assigned a letter).

That helps too. Glad you got it figured out.
