The front USB ports on the case are only USB 1.0 and the ports on the back of the case are 2.0.
Thanks for reminding me, the ports on the back of my pc are 1.0 and the ports on the front of my pc are 2.0. Currently i had the usb wire plugged into the back of my pc, il change it to the front now for my phone so it will increase the speed.
You should always plug USB Peripherals into USB 2.0 ports if possible. It is a lot more than speed USB 2.0 advantages??? - TechSpot Troubleshooting

after alot of searching around and a long day i managed to find a solution for the problem, theres a hotfix beta that i downloaded, now i can transfer all my data to my phone/ external hdd / usb without it stopping and showing up as unformatted.

They don't like it when a person posts a direct link to a download. When I did that recently, I got a PM from a mod giving me a warning. Change it to the download page.
