The Free Space is an extension of the D: data logical partition and cannot be deleted without also deleting D partition.

You can extend D: back into free space, or move the data off of D then delete D to create two new logical (for data) partitions in place of what you have.

What I would do using free Partition Wizard Bootable CD is move the data off D: delete it, then rightclick>Resize your C:Win7 partition by sliding the left border all the way over to the left side of the HD, then slide the right border to the left to make room for a new logical data partition(s) to the right of the resized C: partition.

This way you have the OS in the preferred lower lefthand address and the data to it's right in a new logical data partition.

Be sure to back up your data and a Win7 Backup Image externally as Resizing operations can fail.

    Easeus is a good app.

The free one is only for 32 bit.
