Windows 7 - Prefetch data deleted.

| | Prefetch data deleted. I am currently running the 7022 32bit build. For some unexplainable reason my prefetch data gets deleted everytime I restart. Resulting in me losing all changes I make to my system. Anyone out there with suggestions? Regards. |

Regards. maybe have a look in your registry ? the key that sets the flag is in the registry is : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters the key "enable prefetcher" on mine is set to value 3 which is "prefetch all" has this value changed in your registry ? the values used in windows prefetch are : 0 - Disable Prefetch in Windows 1 - Prefetch only Application Launch files 2 - Prefetch only Boot files 3 - Prefetch all If your unfamiliar or unsure of using regedit then don't  |
