Safe Mode Annoyance

Am I the only one that is annoyed by safe mode always opening the “Windows Help and Support / What is safe mode?” window that I always have to close. I have searched for ways to keep this from happening but have had no luck… Does anyone know how to stop this window from opening?

how often do you boot into safe mode for it to annoy you? iv been running 7 since october, and have safe moded twice, once to edit some permissions which i couldnt change while logged in "normally" and one to delete a bum driver... so no its not an annoyance, i really cant see why it would be an issue as safe mode is a once in a blue moon boot....

Actually not that often... but I have been tracking down a couple of corrupt file problems today and I have had to boot to Safe Mode several times and when it opens in 800x600 resolution that window blocks everything. It has just been one of those days and after closing that window a half-dozen times in a row it got to me...

If we read the question a little differently, I am not sure that he goes into safe mode, maybe he just gets the window. The poster indicates that he does not know what safe mode is. Studiocjf, will you comment further on your situation, so that there can be no misunderstanding. Keep the question posed, in this post, in mind while you answer.

Sorry Richard... But "severedsolo" had it correct... I most certainly know what Safe Mode is... what you misunderstood were the words “Windows Help and Support / What is safe mode?” in quotations in my OP. Those are the title to the window that opens. see the attached screen-shot that I downloaded from another website that shows the initial Safe Mode screen

The only difference I had, as I mentioned, was that mine opened in 800x600 resolution and the Help window covered almost the entire screen. I eventually set my Safe Mode screen resolution to 1920x1200 for my 24" monitor which makes the Help window smaller but it still opens by default and I have to close it

I searched for an option setting or a check box similar to the ones you typically see that give you the option to select "Do Not Show Me This Window Again" or something similar but I have not been able to find anything like that. I have also googled it and found nothing

Like I told "severedsolo" it's not really a big deal I was just having one of those days and that screen just bothered me at the time... But... If anyone can find a tip or tweak to keep this window from opening I would make the change in a heart beat
