    Counterfitting prevention???

I was printing off some thank you cards for Christmas presents my family gave me. I was being creative and using Microsoft Digital Image Pro and scanned in a picture of a $50 dollar bill they gave me. I set it as the background as the card like I did last year.

When I went to print it though, Half the card got cut off and it said

    rulesforuse.org

Basically this website explains that reproduction of money is illegal and such... even though it was part of a card.

Is this a new feature of Windows 7?? I didnt have this problem last year

That would be built into the software. Creepy, though.

Yeah, some of Adobes products need to be patched to use such images too...

if i had a piece of software pull that on me it would be gone. this is the reason i have nothing set to automatically go out and check for drivers, updates or any other reason. there are way too many programs that ask for internet access that never need to connect to the net.

Possibly, but if you play games you must allow them to activate, sometimes twice before they load, although activation takes a minute.

This goes to a European bank?? I don't think Microsoft would go for that, they have so many problems with just basic Windows over there. Sound very fishy to me. I would check your machine for malware.

All printing software and printers have this incorporated into them now a days for fraud prevention. There is nothing to do for it. Money can not be scanned anymore unless of course you can travel back in time.

I am able to scan money and print it in Windows 7. I just tested it. I scanned money (several dominations) into 3 different software’s. I printed it from, MS Word, The MS Scanning Software Editor, from another Picture Editor etc. etc. Prints fine on all printers, Dell or HP, New or Old. I even created a quick Xmas card and it printed fine too.

Don't be surprised if you get a knock at the door and two very tall gentlemen with shades on are standing there.
