Ok guys , I've installed it and first thing, I fixed the desktop.ini issue.

Here's How:

1. Under Folder Options -> View , select "Show hidden files, folders and drives" and un-check "Hide protected operating system files" so that you can see the hidden desktop.ini files.

2. Open the start orb and at the search type: shell:startup and press Enter. The start menu startup folder will open, where you will find a desktop.ini file. Delete it.

3. Open the start orb and at the search type: shell:common startup and press Enter. The "all users" start menu startup folder will open, where you will find a desktop.ini file. Delete it too.

4. Done. Reboot and the desktop.ini will not appear again.

Im told beta keys should work for this. Im also being told that it may actually NOT be RC1 just a pre-rc1 release with the RC1 EULA.

So, what's new in 7057? And is there going to be a 64 bit version coming out soon?

not sure wether a 64 will be released soon, but im sure it will be. Also in this build some UI tweaks new startup/shutdown screen ( very deviant art) and a couple other ui tweaks. Not running it yet, but from what ive read its quite impressive now. Im amazed how microsoft have put this whole 7 thing together. Or maybe im just remembering how the vista cycle was lol

We shall see. I'd give it about 12hrs before a thorough changelog can be assembled.
