Google toolbar, with what? IE8 or FF3? It may not work with IE8 at all (even on Vista.)

Oh. I don't use toolbars again. Firefox's built in search does the job. The only reason I like Google toolbar is its "Autofill" feature but I can live without it. I've yet to install FF in Windows 7. Will try later.
I moderate at McAfee Security Forums so am in my default boot, Vista where all my tools for that are situated and as McAfee refuses to even install in Windows 7 I'll be spending the bulk of my time booted into Vista I'm afraid. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Alienware® ALX X58 OS Vista Ultimate SP2/Windows 7 Ultimate SP1/x64/XP SP3 x86 in VM CPU Intel® Core™ i7-975 Extreme O/C to 4.02 GHz, 8MB Cache Motherboard Asus® P6T Deluxe V2 X58 LGA1366 Memory 12GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz - 6 x 2048MB Graphics Card 1792 MB NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 295/Hauppauge HVR2250 TV Tuner Sound Card Onboard Soundmax® High-Definition 7.1 Performance Audio Monitor(s) Displays Samsung XL2370 LED backlit 23" W/S 2ms response time Screen Resolution 1920 X 1080 Keyboard Microsoft® Wireless Entertainment 8000 + Logitech® G15 Wired Mouse Microsoft® Wireless Laser 8000 + Logitech® G9 Wired PSU Alienware® 1200 Watt Multi-GPU Case Alienware® P2 ALX Chassis with AlienIce™ 3.0 Video Cooling Cooling Alienware® High-Perf. I have Windows 7 x64 installed and have google toolbar - you just have to try and install it again, mine didn't work the first time either.
Same with Flash player just try again.

I'll try the GT again, thanks. I don't have Outlook as I only have the Home & Student version of Office so I'm successfully using Incredimail (licensed so no ads) as my mail client. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Alienware® ALX X58 OS Vista Ultimate SP2/Windows 7 Ultimate SP1/x64/XP SP3 x86 in VM CPU Intel® Core™ i7-975 Extreme O/C to 4.02 GHz, 8MB Cache Motherboard Asus® P6T Deluxe V2 X58 LGA1366 Memory 12GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz - 6 x 2048MB Graphics Card 1792 MB NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 295/Hauppauge HVR2250 TV Tuner Sound Card Onboard Soundmax® High-Definition 7.1 Performance Audio Monitor(s) Displays Samsung XL2370 LED backlit 23" W/S 2ms response time Screen Resolution 1920 X 1080 Keyboard Microsoft® Wireless Entertainment 8000 + Logitech® G15 Wired Mouse Microsoft® Wireless Laser 8000 + Logitech® G9 Wired PSU Alienware® 1200 Watt Multi-GPU Case Alienware® P2 ALX Chassis with AlienIce™ 3.0 Video Cooling Cooling Alienware® High-Perf. I've got Windows Mail up and running in Windows 7. Tried Live Mail and although there are some things I like about it, the fact that it doesn't use (or I haven't figured out how to make it use) the Windows 7 contacts folder is a deal breaker for me.
