It looks ok to me but why not try the MS upgrade advisor, I will be back with the URL.

You have 2gb of RAM everything else looks OK. But take the advice that I supplied, try the advisor. You can get an official MS opinion as the the compatiblity. In fact you can find out if any programs are incompatible, also

You may want to go the the ACER site and see if they have Win 7 or Vista 64bit drivers for you model. I have a HP laptop and it does not have Win 7 support and it took a while to find Vista 64bit drivers that I had to hack to get to work. Win 7 is good at having the drivers but you never know.

too late Phone Man i installed 7 on the lappy yesterday after doing the upgrade advisor. Amazingly after 20 25 of installing then did the windows update another 10 mins maybe the laptop was up and running, i havent need to find any drivers or do anything yet everything seems to be working fine so was pretty impressed especially considering the same process to put XP on took me nearly 3 days!
thanks for the info though Phone Man it is apreciated

Windows 7 is much better than earlier OS, such as Vista. All the leg work is done, drivers, etc. Just install, use easy transfer and install programs and enjoy.
