All these files do i need them?

In the screen shot below you can see a load of crap has been put onto my C drive, I am just wondering does anyone know if I need to leave them all there or what as some of them are just installers etc. I see no reason why but all the same though I would yet again ask you guys for help.

Thanks a lot

Mat

ps: that windows old folder is empty, I just wont get rid of the folder its self for some reason.

Looks like you're not the first to ask about those files,

VC_RED.cab installed in the Root Directory after installation of a PC game

The five across the top look like they could be Windows Update files.

The windows.old folder is just what it says, your old Windows install and is created when you don't do a format before installing 7. It can be safely deleted, but you should go through it first (documents, program files, etc) and see if there is anything you want to keep first.
