Click start, type in computer management and when console pops up click on disk management. Go to the c drive and right click. One of your options should be to shrink volume. It usually splits it in two.. in the new one that is unidentified right click and choose new volume, go through the process and you will be done.

    hope this helps...

the unallocated is fine. now just rightclick on that and format in ntfs. give it a name if you want. just remember it may not be d drive because of your cd / dvd drive.

Type into the Start/search, Create a system repair disc, and click on it at the top of the menu.
Or create a system Back up.again type in at the Start.
