| | MSI file opening problem Hello! I would like to install a program, but Windows seven doesn't know how to open an MSI file... It asks me "open with what"... Do you have an idea? Regards |

| | Usually you don't open those, instead you right-click on them and choose "install". Is that option available to you? |

| | Hello Waldoo, and welcome to Seven Forums. As Unifex said, you don't open these type of files, but run them instead. If you are unable to run a MSI file, then you can use the MSI download in the tutorial below to restore it's default associations to be able to. Default File Type Associations - Restore Hope this helps, Shawn |
