MSI file opening problem

Hello!
I would like to install a program, but Windows seven doesn't know how to open an MSI file... It asks me "open with what"...
Do you have an idea?

Regards

Usually you don't open those, instead you right-click on them and choose "install". Is that option available to you?

Hello Waldoo, and welcome to Seven Forums.

As Unifex said, you don't open these type of files, but run them instead. If you are unable to run a MSI file, then you can use the MSI download in the tutorial below to restore it's default associations to be able to.

Default File Type Associations - Restore

Hope this helps,
Shawn
