Windows 7: Would you go 3d?

Since the release of Avatar does it seem as though we want to try 3D in everything now? I was looking for some Windows 7 themes and I came across this from Nvidia. NVIDIA 3D Vision

This seems as though it would be a really nice thing to add to some games. I wish there was a way to get 3D without needing the glasses. A few 3D desktop themes would be really cool or even a 3D windows theme, all buttons and desktop icons in 3d would be really cool. Whats your input on this? Would you go 3d?
