"Secret features of Windows 7" I was readin this article on tech republic, that was talking about secret features of Windows 7, and can't decide if they are true, and if so, if they work, and if so, how do you activate, implement, and use them. Thank you. The link below is to the article.... Five super-secret features in Windows 7 | 1 of 307 | My System Specs | | |

Quote: 1. Software that turns normal displays into touchscreens I don’t know how Microsoft did this. It seems like they would have needed cooperation from the hardware manufacturers. Nevertheless, it appears that the company has developed its own highly-secret software that can turn any standard LCD screen into a touchscreen. Now users will no longer have to a do a simple click-and-drag to resize photos. Instead they’ll be able to reach up to their screens with both hands and use a set of complicated multi-touch gestures to do the same thing, and it will only take 5-10 seconds longer. Upon further digging, I also discovered that all mouse and keyboard drivers appear to be in a time-bombed phase-out cycle. Anyone using such software? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Sony Vaio FZ21Z OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 ®™ CPU Intel Core 2 Duo (2.2 GHz) Motherboard Sony (Intel Chipset) Memory 2x 2GB Corsair (667 MHz) Graphics Card NVIDIA 8600M GS (256MB) Sound Card Sigmatel Monitor(s) Displays 15.4" TFT X-Black Screen Resolution 1280x800 Mouse Logitech Anywhere MX Hard Drives Western Digital 300GB Scorpio Black (7200rpm) Internet Speed Sky 5MB |

Hello Spy, welcome to the Seven Forums,
I really hope you were joking. If not, think a little: HKEY_CLUELESS_USER and HKEY_CRAPPY_MACHINE? Normal display suddenly feeling your touch?
A joke. A very bad joke. If you like jokes, you'll find better here.

I have no idea if there is any truth in any of those "features", but I'm dubious. Very interesting read to say the least, I'm sort of puzzled as to why Microsoft would include an alternate version of the registry.. especially how they named it.
Is it April Fools yet?
