one question about boot loader

hi.
my friend's laptop has two windows:xp and vista wih dual boot
he formated the vista partition and now he has just windows xp.
as you know when he starts his laptop the dual boot screen appears but he don't want it.
what shoud i do?
i think it's ok to edit boot.ini and delete the line of windows visa (in that screen vista is default)

Once you install it, poke around and you'll find the "remove vista bootloader" option. It's as simple as pressing a couple buttons.
